FAQ
Questions buyers ask.
Who owns the data?
You do. It lives on your own Mac mini in your office, under your accounts. If you stop working with us, the server, the data and the system stay with you.
What about HIPAA and patient information?
The system is built to keep patient information out. It never stores patient names; each case has one free-text Patient ID field for whatever reference your team already uses. Everything else is cases, surgeons, facilities, trays, POs and commissions.
Where does it run?
On a Mac mini in your office. The app and the web portal read from it. Nothing runs on shared servers that hold other companies' data.
What happens if something breaks?
The agents check themselves around the clock and repair what they can. Our team handles the rest. Your data is backed up every night to storage you own.
Who maintains it?
The agents do most of it, with our team behind them. The monthly retainer covers keeping the server, agents, app tenant and portal current.
We already have a corporate system. Do we replace it?
Usually not. Most teams keep Movemedical, ImplantBase, Compass or whatever corporate requires, and the agents pull the data out of it. Whether that works for yours depends on how that system lets us in: API access, login rules, bot checks. That is a phone call with our team, not a promise on a web page.
How long does setup take?
Install takes days. Server + agents is 30 days with our team. The Trilogy is six months, side by side, until it runs the way your company runs.
Do we have to start with all three?
No. Start with the server and agents, then add the app tenant or the web portal when you are ready.
